Elementary

Children in grades one through five use Seasons of the Spirit, an ecumenical, lectionary-based curriculum. Seasons invites them to explore meaning and mystery in the Bible, nurturing faith by engaging the imagination in tradition, science, technology and the arts. Classes meet Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

Although children are welcome to worship with their families at the 10:00 a.m. service, they are given the opportunity to attend Children's Chapel, a liturgy appealing to children ages 9 and younger. The Children's Chapel is held in the Van Schaick Room at 10:10a.m. Children remain with their parents in the Sanctuary until after the Collect and return during Communion.
