Fellowship is another way we serve one another.
We've got many ways to bring parishioners together to have fun and make new friendships through socially and spiritually rewarding activities. Check out the recurring activities below, and see the Upcoming Events page for more opportunities.
Rise + Shine (starting May 2)
“Rise + Shine,” welcomes all ages and stages of life including babies, toddlers, parents, singles, and grandparents.
Starting time will be 9:00 am and continue until 10:30 on the front lawn at St. James for one hour of guided movement and meditation followed by time for community.
There is a $5 participation fee and childcare is free.
Please bring a water bottle, yoga mat, and a healthy snack to share.
No RSVP is necessary but feel free to share your information with us for communication purposes.
Contact Robin Taylor at email@example.com for further information.
Join the “Keep America Warm” knitting group and turn your leftover yarn into an afghan for the homeless. Come join us – we will teach you how to knit or crochet. We even provide the materials, good conversation, and fellowship.
This is a project you can take home with you for picking up any time you need to be creative… there is no right or wrong, no set pattern required. Each square in these blankets will be a labor of friendship and love for the person who receives them. Bring your finished squares to our meetings.
Contact Barbara Alcorn for schedule of meetings.
Calling all Foodies! Join us for a year-long culinary tour of San Diego, sampling delicious cuisine and exploring neighborhoods once a month. We’ll carpool or Uber to destinations featuring everything from farm-to-table to tacos & tequila. Contact Chris Christopher for the latest adventure.
If you'd like to know more about any of these fellowship opportunities, or if you would like to suggest a new one, please contact the office.
