Come to Pray, Meditate and ReflectSince ancient times churches and cathedrals have welcomed pilgrims seeking sanctuary, prayer, and time with God. During this time of pandemic, St. James invites you to make a "pilgrimage" and come for private prayer inside our main sanctuary. The high altar will be adorned with the Holy Sacrament to pray with and reverence as well.
Reservations are required and clear safety guidelines will be followed. Only one person (or family unit) can reserve a time slot at a time. Chairs will be set up for your use on the chancel, near the altar rail - it will be clearly marked. Please wear a mask and use hand sanitizer as you enter and exit the sanctuary. Access in and out of the chancel will ONLY be through the side entrance, off the Silverado Avenue patio. The chairs and altar rail will be cleaned and sanitized between visitors.
