Social Opportunities
Fellowship is another way we serve one another.
We've got many ways to bring parishioners together to have fun and make new friendships through socially and spiritually rewarding activities. Check out the recurring activities below, and see the Upcoming Events page for more opportunities.
Hooks & Needles Ministry
Join the “Keep America Warm” knitting group and turn your leftover yarn into an afghan for the homeless. Come join us – we will teach you how to knit or crochet. We even provide the materials, good conversation, and fellowship. This is a project you can take home with you for picking up any time you need to be creative… there is no right or wrong, no set pattern required. Each square in these blankets will be a labor of friendship and love for the person who receives them. Bring your finished squares to our meetings. Contact Barbara Alcorn for schedule of meetings. |
