This is a comment regarding the sermon by Christina Miller given on Sunday 7/23/23. Where is the word sin? is it just a relic reluctantly left in the liturgy? Where is the Christian metaphor of sin and redemption, by the Body and Blood of Jesus? Are we really just animate beings floundering through life with the saccharin observation that "God's love is in us", God's love is with us"? Where was God's love in the killing fields of Cambodia? Or was that something else? Evil, another word that seems to be out of the ecclesiastical parlance.? Leave a Reply. |
