The presentation was on our regular Sunday Adult Ed. Zoom meeting which was recorded and available at the link HERE. To be able to play the recording use the Access Passcode: kDmM7*+4 .
Sunday's Gospel contained the famous quote from John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life." Here are several beautiful settings of that text as it has been set through the centuries.

Organ Project Progress!
A lot is happening with the St. James Organ Project these days. Construction is underway, and we are regularly receiving updates from Parsons Pipe Organ Builders in Canandaigua, New York. Final designs are coming together, and decisions have been made about keyboards, draw knobs, and layout. Many components of the organ have been ordered from suppliers around the globe. Read more "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged," Moses tells us in the book of Deuteronomy. The assurance of God's closeness during our Lenten season of introspection is set beautifully to music this week by composers John Rutter, Philip Stopford, and Herbert Howells. Enjoy all the music HERE or sample each piece in the player below. ![]() A personal testimony by Donna Koziol (coinciding with her article in the Chimes, March 2021) Forty years ago, having managed right royally to screw up my life – and the lives of those near and dear to me – I had a weird experience that though improbable-sounding, was exceptionally real for me. One night, lying in bed, my soul – I suspect tortured and disgusted by the mess I’d made of my life – left my body (an attempt to escape? seek relief? go ‘home’?). I found myself travelling through a dark place – no light, but warm, and ‘textured’; a feeling like dense-piled, warm, black velvet. [Because it was completely black and warm, I thought perhaps I’d arrived in Hell… which I rather felt I deserved.] Read the complete testimony HERE.
Miss Gabby begins The Faces of Easter. Join us over the next few weeks as we journey with Jesus from birth to resurrection. Not only that but we are creating a stone for the tomb, as per Father Mark's request. See how that progresses too. Better yet, join us in person on Sundays and be part of the fun. Contact Miss Gabby for details at gabrielle@sjbts.org
